History

Inspired by the MIT Enterprise Forum, today’s Entrepreneurs’ Forum began in 1992 as the volunteer Enterprise Forum Committee of the Nova Scotia Advanced Technology Collegium, and incorporated as Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Nova Scotia in 1996.  The EF strategy was to provide new, struggling and ambitious entrepreneurs with a means to receive advice from successful leaders who had survived and thrived in the business world.

The early 2000's saw a growing roster of entrepreneurs and Advisors, and the recognition of the value of EF Advisory services in Nova Scotia created the need for EF in other provinces.  In 2003, EF established a presence in Prince Edward Island, in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2006, and in New Brunswick in 2008.
